Food Prep!!
After an intense shoulder and core workout I had to spend time whether I wanted to or not food prepping. I had a roll of ground turkey and chicken breasts that were counting down their hours to going bad!
My go-to after every workout. Pineapple Coconut protein powder with Almondmilk.
Finished product.
Lemon Pepper and Montreal Chicken for seasoning the chicken breasts.
A healthy little something to snack on while I cook!
Got the chicken cooking in coconut oil and ground turkey over down yonder.
Diced green onions and minced garlic for flavor to the turkey.
I failed to take a picture of the ground turkey meal, but after cooking I drained the meat, added chicken taco seasoning, added the veggies, and simmered a bit longer for all the ingredients to settle in to the meat. I warmed up some fresh corn tortillas (no added grease, just water and a hot skillet!), sliced up avocado and shredded cheese and waalaa! I had me some GREAT tasting turkey tacos for lunch!!
You gotta have these in your cupboard! I'm excited to see that PAM came out with coconut and olive oil (I think they've had the o.o. tho)
To side the chicken breast, I cut up a sweet potato in large chunks.
Ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of butter and natural ground cinnamon for the potatoes.
Yum!!
