Of course I'm always a last minute person and its no different when I have a responsibility to nearly 75 kids and 3 teachers. Thankfully, I only had to cook for one child's class so I went with the quick and easiest treats possible - Rice Krispies Treats :)
Although my initial plan was to make these treats in heart shapes and coat the backs in chocolate...the finished product was anything but. Again, because I'm last minute I couldn't wait the entire time for them to cool to cut the hearts, so I had to make do with different shapes and sizes of bite size treats. While it was cooling I decided to stick in some of the class heart candies with messages that you can't even read...and with some left over chocolate from the cake pops I made, I drizzled the chocolate over the top. It all came out well!!
I know, I'm no Bakerella but I try :)
